At smaXtec, we develop a unique health management system for dairy cows, using smart algorithms and AI applications to revolutionize herd health and sustainability.
Your Role
- Build, maintain, and optimize data pipelines using Apache Kafka and Python.
- Design scalable ETL pipelines for data ingestion and processing (BigQuery, modern data warehouse solutions).
- Collaborate with Data Analytics to integrate machine learning models.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure robust data governance (quality, security, compliance).
- Deploy and manage applications with Kubernetes (Google Kubernetes Engine) and Docker.
YOUR PROFILE
- Proficiency in Python for data processing and pipeline development.
- Experience with SQL for querying and managing data in warehouse environments.
- Familiar with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g. GitLab).
- ~2 years of experience in data engineering or software development.
- Knowledge of Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming.
- Basic understanding of machine learning workflows and tools (e.g. VertexAI).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud) and BigQuery.

- Advanced: from € 48.000,00 gross per year
