Ihre Aufgaben:
- Disziplinäre und fachliche Führung der Finanzbuchhaltung und damit verbunden 10 MitarbeiterInnen
- Sicherstellung der Einhaltung der Compliance-Richtlinien sowie eine ordnungsgemäße Buchhaltung in Übereinstimmung mit den unternehmensrechtlichen Vorschriften UGB, US-GAAP und Steuerrecht
- Optimierung der Accounting Prozesse für effiziente Abläufe
- Verantwortung für den Accounting-Teil des Monats-, Quartals- und Jahresabschlusses
- Erstellung des UGB jahresabschlusses, der Umsatzsteuererklärung, der Energieabgabevergütung etc.
- Mitwirkung bei Förderungen, monatlichen Reportings und der Erstellung der Steuerbilanz
- Fachliche Koordination von internen und externen PrüferInnen
- Optimierung des IKS (internes Kontrollsystem) und von unternehmensinternen Compliance Richtlinien für die gesamte rechtliche Einheit

Your future responsibilities
- Continue to develop the unit of 10 researchers focused on control platforms for power electronic converter systems for a wide range of sectors and applications.
- Provide vision for long-term research opportunities in power electronics.
- Establish and manage research projects with a wide range of industrial and academic partners.
- Shaping the department's research programme and project portfolio with supervisors and peers.
- Effectively delegate research issues to the right combination of SAL scientists and researchers for best team performance.
- Plan and control the research unit's budget and resources.
- Provide overall leadership for the research unit to deliver high quality research outputs, innovation and economic impact.

- Developing and executing manual and automated tests
- Creating test plans and strategies for the entire software development lifecycle (unit tests, integration tests, system tests)
- Developing and implementing guidelines and standards for software development
- Collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to continuously improve software quality
- Analyzing and managing bugs
- Developing and optimizing test automation tools
- Participating in code reviews
- Conducting risk analyses and introducing measures to prevent defects
- Preparing regular reports

Your future responsibilities
- Educational Background:
- PhD in digital IC design with at least 3 years of relevant experience, or
- MSc in a relevant field with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Technical Expertise:
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in HDLs (SystemVerilog, VHDL).
- Excel in architecture exploration and micro-architecture development.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of on-chip infrastructure (AMBA/PCIe/USB/JTAG, NoC).
- Have a solid background in silicon development and digital IP design/integration.
- Utilize experience with back-end tools (synthesis and Place & Route).
- Exhibit proficiency in Static Timing Analysis tools and Clock Domain Crossing.
- Show expertise in functional and formal verification.
- Apply skills in scripting languages (Tcl, Python, Perl, MATLAB, Shell-scripting).
- Leverage experience with EDA tools (simulator/debug/synthesis/timing analysis/place & route) from major vendors (Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor).
- Experience with FPGA tools (e.g., Xilinx)
- Communicate effectively in verbal and written English; knowledge of German is an advantage.
- Software development skills (bare metal, RISC-V/ARM) are beneficial.
- Additional Skills:
- Proven project management experience.
- Autonomous, well-organized, and thrive in a dynamic and multicultural team environment.
- Experience in team leadership or PhD supervision is highly desirable.
- Effective in strategy development is an advantage.
