Working Student - Virtual Development (f/m/d)

In this role, you will support development of softwares for the AT&S Simulation toolset.

Working hours: 12 hours per week

Work mode: Remote or Hybrid

Your Responsibilities

• Contribute to the creation and enhancement of software-based tools, including Abaqus plugins, calculator scripts, and web interfaces.

• Conduct testing and debugging of software tools to ensure functionality and reliability.

• Maintain detailed documentation of the development processes, including code comments and user manuals.

• Protect of intellectual property (IP) and assurance of the company in a highly competitive industry.

Your Profile

• Ongoing University degree in Computer science, data science, software engineering, electronics, mechanical engineering, physics or similar.

• Demonstrated experience in coding and deploying web scripts and interfaces, particularly for simulation tools. 

• Strong skills in Python for data visualization and analysis, including experience with Plotly and Dash.

• Ability to communicate effectively in both spoken and written English, Mandarin or German skills are asset. 

• Good analytical skills with attention to details, “out of the Box” thinking and good stress management.

• Eagerness to constantly learn and evolve with new technologies and methodologies.

• Nice to Have: Experience with Abaqus plugin development.
